An AI phone agent is a neuro-agent on your line: it holds the conversation in natural speech, answers from your knowledge base and calls people back. Bene Hotline answers, books and routes; Bene Qualifier calls your customer base and new inbound leads; Bene Sales runs the whole sale. Boundaries are agreed before launch, a call that needs a person reaches one with its context, and every call lands in your CRM as a transcript.
It handles three kinds of phone work, and your scenario sets which ones it takes on your line. The lines quoted below come from our recorded demo calls, with personal data and company names masked.
Bene Hotline answers nights, weekends and the rush after a mailing at the same speed as a quiet weekday, and takes concurrent calls up to the capacity agreed for your line. It answers from your knowledge base, books the appointment, routes the caller and writes the enquiry and its transcript into your CRM. On a recorded garage call, it confirms the booking: “Spot on, full service on Thursday it is.” It then asks for the details: “Could you give me your contact number and email address, please?” The service is booked, with home collection. If you only need your calls answered, see our AI phone answering service.
Bene Qualifier works your existing base and new inbound leads, asks the questions that shape the offer, then books the meeting or passes a warm lead to your team; Bene Sales runs the full sale. In the EU it says it is an AI at the start of the call; elsewhere you decide, within local rules. A recorded call for a fertility information service opens with “Hello, this is Grace, an AI assistant” and moves straight to the reason: “Is this the person who sent us an enquiry through one of our websites?” See AI lead qualification for new leads, AI outbound calling for whole lists and customer reactivation for lapsed customers.
Each call comes back as a transcript with its outcome and next step, written into your CRM, so your team opens a filled-in record. Analytics on the agent's own calls, shown on our platform, comes with the package. For your human team, Locator scores 100% of calls against a checklist agreed with you, on 30+ parameters. A manual QA team reaches 3-5% of calls, a figure from our own operations.
Phone revenue leaks at both ends of the line: the inbound call nobody answers, and the callback that goes out too late.
Calls come in while the team is with a customer, at lunch or gone for the day. An unanswered call leaves no record: no name, no ticket, no way to tell a new customer from a wrong number, so the loss never reaches a report. Invoca's 2026 benchmark, vendor data drawn from more than 70 million calls, found that 56% of all calls to businesses on its platform, misdials and quick hang-ups included, were answered by a person. With an agent on the line, the unanswered calls get an answer and a transcript, including the ones that end in a handover.
A web form arrives after hours and the first callback goes out the next morning, if someone has time. According to the MIT / InsideSales Lead Response Study, 78% of buyers choose the first company that responds, and Harvard Business Review found that only 1% of B2B companies respond to an inbound lead within 5 minutes. Your customer base waits longer still, because nobody has the hours to call it. Why the first minutes count: the five-minute rule.
It pays where calls repeat, or where leads outnumber the people who can call them.
Clinics, garages, delivery firms, a bank's card line, online shops: in the sectors of our recorded calls, the answer to the caller's question already exists in a system or a document. What a first consultation costs, when the car can come in, where the parcel is, how to block a card: because the answer is written down, the agent can give it and finish the call. Each sector's typical calls are on our industries page.
Inbound leads waiting for a callback, a customer base nobody has called since the last order, a sales team that spends its mornings dialling. Minimum purchase: 3,000 minutes a month, at each product's Base rate. That suits a line with steady volume. Our founders ran call operations for about ten years, with up to 1,500 live operators at peak, across France, Mexico and beyond, and our scenarios are built on that experience. If you run a whole call floor, see our AI call center page.
The boundaries go into the scenario before launch. Setting them once the agent is live is where these projects go wrong.
The agent does not give the doctor's, the mechanic's or the consultant's answer. Asked about the caller's chances on a recorded clinic call, it says: “Look, I completely understand why you’re asking, but I’m not a doctor.” It adds: “Only the doctor can look at your full history and give you an honest answer.” The call ends with a first consultation booked for Thursday evening, its fee given, and the medical question left to the doctor.
Some requests need a person with the authority to decide, and the agent hands them over with the context attached, so the caller does not repeat the story. On a recorded bank call, the caller wants the new card sent to a work address, and the agent answers: “Changing an address needs an advisor, to be honest.” It offers the handover on the spot: “I can hand you over to the team right now, if you like.” More in when to hand the call to a human and the warm lead card.
The agent asks only for the data the task needs and checks it. When a caller on the same bank line starts reading out the full card number, it cuts in: “Sorry to interrupt, please stop there.” It then names what it does need: “We never ask for the full card number over the phone, just the last four digits, please, and your date of birth.” Where a fact is missing from the knowledge base, it says so rather than inventing one; keeping prices and policies current stays an ongoing job on your side. More in why AI agents invent things.
Our rates are on a published rate card, and the first step is a meeting about the calls you already take.
At the Base package of 25,000 minutes a month, Bene Hotline is 0.20 a minute excluding VAT, Bene Qualifier 0.25 and Bene Sales 0.30, the same figure in EUR, GBP and USD. Larger packages, up to 1M minutes a month, lower the rate by 5% to 25%. Minimum purchase: 3,000 minutes a month, at each product's Base rate. Billing is on talk time, and a call that reaches voicemail is billed as talk time. Call analytics on the calls the agent makes is included. Latin America is priced in USD: 0.10, 0.15 and 0.20. Run your numbers in the calculator or read what a per-minute quote leaves out.
We meet on Zoom or in person, and you walk us through your calls: who calls, what they need, and how a good call ends. We set up a neuro-agent on your scenario and record a call with it. You listen; if you like what you hear, we plan the launch. Integrations with your telephony, CRM and calendar, and what the agent may write into them, are confirmed in writing before go-live, and go-live timing is quoted per project. Book the first meeting, or start by reading the four stages of an AI rollout.
